This Low Profile Dual Tank CAFS system is our newest model. The operation is the same as all our our other Foam Tote Units but with some additional features. This unit has two separate 114 litre water tanks. They can be used simultaneously for a full 4500+ litres of foam or you can use just one tank at a time. By using just one tank you have the other on standby to be used at another fire location with confidence.
As with all our other units, you can use separate / different foam solutions or other solutions or additives. This is because all mixing takes place outside of the water tank, via our patented mixing process, the mixing only takes place as the unit is dispersing, therefore also eliminating the need for pre-mixing and waste of what is not used & corrosion issues. All additives and solutions are stored in their own compartments until activated. This is great for decontamination foam, etc. As with our other CAFS units, it is totally self contained, operated with an easy one-lever operation. And no power source is required.
This unit has a larger footprint than our other units, this is because we have focused on reducing the height of the unit, lowering its centre of gravity, making it the most ideal fire unit for vehicle or truck mounting by reducing the chance of vehicle instability in higher speed situations.
