Ularu - Central Australia (T.Grigo)

Fire Solutions Australia supply self-contained, Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS), that are safe and easy to operate. Any of our units can be built to the customers specification or units are available in stock for quick delivery. Fire Solutions Australia export these patented CAFS units all around the world and specialise in Portable Compressed Air Foam Systems and direct accessories only.Fire Australia 2007

We gladly cater to the following markets;
Industrial / Mining Sectors- Petrochemical Industry - Aviation Industry - Rural Property Owners - Remote Communities - Marine Industries

It is very hard to justify utilising the old 400 or 600 litre fire fighting water units when compared to our new technology systems. There are no motors to start, no fuel source required. The system is fully self proportioning and requires little to no previous experience to use. Combine this with only having to carry a twentieth of the weight on the vehicle, resulting in less vehicle wear and less fuel consumption and you have an outstanding high volume, light weight, and powerful fire fighting system.

Why Should you buy a CAFS unit you may ask...

All of our CAFS R.R.U's (Rapid Response Units) have the following distinct operational advantages over other petrol / diesel driven CAFS systems or conventional and aspirated foam water tankers;

  • Compact, Lightweight, Self Contained
  • No external power / motor required
  • Huge Vehicle Fuel Savings with the reduction in water requirements
  • No petroleum based fuel required, no sparks
  • No motors to start, no mechanical problems with idle motors
  • Portable and stationary applications
  • We utilise either standard Australian nitrogen bottles, hired & delivered by the major industrial gas suppliers, or use SCBA / SCUBA bottles available from many sources.
  • Fire Solution Australia's CAFS units are factory set to utiliseone litre of water to expand to 20 litres of fire fighting foam.
  • Our smallest RRU-10 (up to 750 litres of foam output) fire fighting units will generally meet the requirement to carry 400 litres of fire fighting ability on board, when felling trees or undertaking power line works in the remote areas for instance.
  • Our patented system allows you to easily change the expansion ratios even while the unit is in operation, this enables you to utilise a light fluffy foam over a chemical / fuel / oil fire or spill, effectively trapping the contaminant under the layer of foam.
  • Our point of use foam concentrate injection system meters the additive into the water during operation, making it superior to a pre-mix system by reducing manual error on mixing quantities, alleviating the tank corrosion and subsequent maintenance issues and providing the ability to add other chemicals or additives as required.

Fire Solutions Australia's Foam Tote C.A.F.S are incredibly efficient and reliable fire fighting and fire protection systems. With the ability to spray your worksite / property / equipment down with CAFS foam well before the fire arrives, or lay down a visible wet break, you will have the edge on bush fires or potential equipment fires. In addition to this unique preventative function, the units have fast, high powered knock down and fire suppressant abilities, giving you a real option to stay and fight with confidence.

As can been seen in this footage our RRU's have an outstanding knock down time...Here Wes Hunter from Fire Solutions LLC demonstrates the RRU.

 R.T.V Rapid Response Fire Unit
Fire Solutions Australia provides an R.T.V mounted foam fire suppression pack that allows for an extremely quick initial attack in areas that were previously hard to get to or restricted on space. A Kubota R.T.V paired with our very compact Dual RRU 30 foam tote is an excellent fire protection package (pictured below).

Initial attack with a CAFS RRU is a powerful and cost-effective fire suppression method that is re-usable and will give years of service. The Kabota R.T.V is a 3 cylinder diesel and has a top speed of 40Km/hr, our units will also suit Kawasaki and other RTV units but the Kobota is a quality unit, at an economical price. Together these two cost around AUS$40,000.00 plus GST complete with CAFS unit and ready to use. This mobile CAFS combination provides ultra fast and versatile rapid response fire fighting capabilities with over 2000 litres of foam, these units are especially popular. Please enquire for more information.

This clip is of our RRU 120 being used by 'Happy As' Larry from Fire Solutions LLC. The RRU 120 disperses over 9000 litres of foam and only weights in at about 600kgs fully loaded with water and air bottles.
